For information my unit with OSX 10.8.4 is using HD 4870 at this moment. Besides less tinkering, I would like to get a quiet card, no OC is required. Any advise? blipotech Posted July 6, 2013 Share Posted July 6, 2013 The 7/6 series cards are amazing and won't hear a peep out of them. I have the EVGA Superclocked GTX 770 2gb it's a reality nice card. You shouldn't run into any graphics issues since you're on 10.8.4 you will get full QE/CI and works out of the box due to self initiation features. I'm looking to install 10.7 as a start to see if it will run. I know my hardware is compatible, but having older graphics cards already installed didnt make it worth the effort.
