Taruga Posted November 6, 2008 Share Posted November 6, 2008 Hi, I've been sick since I was 17 years old, I have Epilepsy. In 1996/1997 I was 2 whole years almost the time in bed due to this problem. But things got to a much worse state this last 2 months. Epilepsy is more or less controlled, I have only some crisis from time to time and not several on each day like I used to have. I'm was diagnosed with Epilepsy, Chronic Depression as well as Cerebral exhaustion. So my Doctor forced me to rest and be at home. I starting to feel better, but I'm too weak and most of the time to tired and sleepy to do even simple tasks. I'm not dead, I didn't abandoned the scene. I helped the community a lot with AppleHDA Patcher, some individual kexts for sound, some info, etc When I got sick I was mainly working on my own sound driver (AppleHDA.kext) must be replaced. It's not a solution for all of us, even for me. I have everything working properly, but I want so much more from a sound driver. Like equalizer presets and other things I had in mind. I can see know people starting to understand how to patch AppleHDA , THe KinG, etc. It's nice to finally see some one like The King making a tutorial much better than I could ever do. When I recover I will concentrate mainly one the driver I was doing, that is the future to stop having sound problems and have a lot of extra features we will all enjoy and expect. Don't PM me too much, I need rest and I can't push my head like before until I recover. So, instead of helping other now, I need to help myself first. M@dMac Posted April 27, 2009 Share Posted April 27, 2009 hi, just wanted to whish you so much health and peace for your sake; so many people here push it so badly and they don't consider such things as the fact that we are all people here, we go out, we need rest, we have family, we share time with others which many times don't have nuttin to do with the forums, we go into vacations... even when we don't plan them, we just have a live... but it doesn't mean we might be careless about the ones we share with and hang out here; anyhow, I truly which and pray for you and everyone else that has directly or indirectly something to do with you... sorry if my words might sound like something one you don't know would ever say to you... but I truly beleive there is something great, something far beyond of what we have seen or witness up 'till this point, we are heroes, and yes... this time is for you only... gather strenght... take care of your family -- eventhough they might think is them taking care of you -- but whatever you do make sure you come back brand new, fresh, spotless, just kidding... come as you are like the song says, well... is good to leave a note to such a great person, your work speaks for you, and yes...
