Hi!

So i am going to share my success story on my 10.9 hackintosh build.

My build:

  • Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H
  • GeForce 650 Ti 2Go
  • Intel i5 Ivy Bridge 4.3 OC
  • 8Go Corsair Vengance 1600
  • Audio Chipset: ALC898
  • I can boot with no problem after using the modified version of Charmelon which can be found there: http://www.insanelym...20#entry1921401
  • For building the USB itself i've followed the general Tutorial for ML (Dont forget to replace the boot file before you go ahead with the installation, and to put it back on after on the system)

What's Working:

  • Video Card worked OBB
  • SSDT & DSDT are injected properly
  • All outputs (Firewire, 2x Ethernet, USB 3.0
  • App Store, iMessage, Facetime, Etc... using the EFI injection
  • Dual HD4000 & GTX Card using EFI Injection as well
  • Multi-Display with the new features (2 Screens on the Video Card itself, none on the HD4000)

What's Not Working:

  • Sound, i tried to installed the non-dsdt version for ALC898 with no success but i haven't got alot of time to look into it yet.
  • Proper Ghz is not showing the 'About my Mac' section.
  • More to come i guess :)

My boot file:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">

Can you post your boot.plist? Thx

I will post it tonight along with more details about the installation process. Also, this morning i was able to inject some pin config into my audio kext so tonight i'll make a linuxdump and start working on a custom version of HDAEnabler.

Right now i am spending half the time with iOS 7 and OS X Mavericks :P

To be continued...

Still trying to get into the installer. Formatted USB as OSX Journaled Extended

Restored Base System To USB With Disk Utility

Unmounted Base System

Named USB Drive "PC" (volume name)

------------

Terminal

------------

sudo -s

vsdbutil -a /Volumes/PC

rm -rf /Volumes/PC/System/Installation/Packages

cp -vR /Volumes/OS\ X\ Install\ ESD/Packages /Volumes/PC/System/Installation/

Pacifist from (http://www.charlessoft.com/)

To Locate and Find mach_kernal

Now what... I can't get into the installer, I get an error...

In spite of the OP, I decided to install the 898 non-DSDT audio driver, repaired permissions, and audio works just fine now!  :thumbsup_anim: System is completely functional now.

Just for the heck of it, I did a comparison of OpenGL too. link to post

Which board version do you have that has working audio?

Photo comparison:

Z77X-UD5H board version 1.0 had two versions: one with blue capacitors + space between DDR3 slots 2 & 3.

The 2nd version has purple capacitors and no space between DDR3 slots.

Don´t you know if working with a software like Final Cut X or Davinci Resolve, both cards are working toquether?

It´s very important to get more power to work.

Can you post some benchmark like Open CL or Heaven?

Thanks a Lot!

ah sorry. I want to test yours.. only to see if I'm wrong with my 10.9 boot. in fact I started fine with setup 10.9 dp1.

10.9 dp4 started too.. but the display was so poor and dirty..

and dp6 never start the graphic server.. it tries.. but after a while it revert to black boot screen.
