Well I just finished up my hackintosh like last week sometime now I am looking for my next build...

Right now I my build is this.....

Cooler Master 690 II advanced

Cooler Master Seidon 120M

Asus P8z77 M Pro

Intel® Core™ i7-3770K

Corsair CX 600

Corsair Vengeance 4GB DDR3 1600MHz CL9 DIMM (16GB total)

ASUS GTX660 TI-DC2O-2GD5 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB GDDR5

SanDisk Extreme 120GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s

Seagate Barracuda (ST500DM002) SATA3 6.0Gb/s 500GB 16MB Cache

TP Link TL-WDN4800

Apparently when I was given these parts it was the perfect build but that was back in December what would be the perfect build for the closest thing to the 12 core Mac Pro and the 27-inch iMac

the parts you have will make a very fast hackintosh.

and faster than a 27 inch imac and perhaps as fast as a 2010 mac pro

if you want. duel cpu motherboard you can beat a 12 core mac

the question is how fast can you afford to go

Could you suggest the parts to use to get as close as possible to the 12 core mac pro and the 27-inch iMac

Any LGA 2011 motherboard paired with a Sandy-E six-core CPU will match the Nehalem/Westmere 12-core Mac Pro's performance. The downside is the lack of native power management, but i wouldn't call it a deal breaker. If you can spend a lot - and yet it would be cheaper then a real 12-core mac pro - you could go with an EVGA SR-2 motherboard, a pair of compatible Xeon CPUs and a lot of time reading this: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1333421. The resulting machine would be 50-100% faster than any Apple Mac made to date, and would have all power management features, since it would use a supported architecture.

All the best!
