jollyrogerbay Posted May 18, 2013 Share Posted May 18, 2013 Hello everyone, A few days ago I managed to install iAtkos s3 v2 on my Acer Aspire One 722. The Snow Leopard install is working wonderfully, but I'm running into problems regarding the installation of kexts for the computer's ethernet. I've tracked down a kext for my Atheros ethernet card (the L1 iAts kext found here. http://code.google.com/p/iats/), but I'm having difficulty installing it. I've tried installing this kext both with KextHelper b7 and by manually dropping it into the System/Library/Extensions folder (and repairing the installation afterwards), but with no success. Another forum regarding a SL install on an Aspire One 722 confirmed that Ethernet works with this specific kext, so I know that its the right one for my computer. Could anyone please provide advice on what I'm doing wrong and perhaps provide instruction on how to install this specific kext? I'm really pretty clueless at this point. Thanks.
