mryner4
I just successfully made my first Hackintosh with 10.8 (Wahoo!) and I was wondering if I would be able to use the PCI wifi card pre installed into my HP Pavillion Elite m9360f desktop. All that I know about the Wifi card is on the image attached. I have a feeling it might be Ralink, as Windows Update has asked me to install a Ralink driver in the past. The desktop is not near my router so having only ethernet is out of the option. Right now I have Ethernet sharing from a laptop. Does anyone know if it will work? Thanks! Gringo Vermelho
Yes, there are Ralink wi-fi drivers available for OS X. Whether it will work or not depends on the chip used, this is not always obvious from the model number or name.
kvonlinee
I think that is simple way and get native wi-fi you can replace the current wi-fi to the http://www.amazon.co...e/dp/B009VKON0S and you don't have worry about modify kext when update come.
