Can't get turbo boost working

I've tried a lot of things (both through the bios & patches), but I can't seem to get turbo boost working. I am stuck at 1.6Ghz idle and 3.3Ghz load. During my last attempt, I used the ssdtPRGen script to generate a new ssdt.aml without any changes. However, enabling DropSSDT causes my system to freeze while booting. Could someone please point me in the right direction?

Won't that cause a kernel panic? Either way, I'll give that a shot right now.

 

EDIT:

 

Booting with DropSSDT and no NullCPUPowerManagement causes the system to hang with corecrypto.kext messages

Booting without DropSSDT and no NullCPUPowerManagement causes the system stay at 1.6Ghz 100% of the time.

I have P8Z68-V/GEN3 with i7-2700K. I've got custom DSDT - fully patched - and SSDT generated by this SCRIPT. The weird thing is that if I just skip ssdt and let chameleon generate P&C states it reports about 13 states but anyway Mac uses only x16 and x35 no turbo or anything between. My smbios is iMac12.2 as it was released with i7-2600.

How did you go about patching your DSDT manually? When I extract mine, I get compilation errors even before I try to patch it.

First of all I forgot to say that I've got my bios patched with PMPatcher so that I won't need patched AICPUPM.

About DSDT: When you extract your DSDT it's normal that you'll get some errors at the very beggining. I patched my dsdt using DSDT Editor and patch from THERE - you will need to register and than download patch for your mobo. There is one 'but'. If you are using 3k bios - the number that goes like 3XXX than you will need to choose 'P 8 generic patch' otherwise choose the patch with your exact mobo name in it. At first I had abou 12 errors, after applying patch I had only 2 left. I just googled them. To repair the remaining 2 of them I needed to change something like 2 or 3 lines in code - really simple as there are guides on the web.

EDIT: I formatted my drive and started over using a premade Asus P8Z68-V Pro Bios 1101 DSDT. Everything works (turbo boost, sleep, etc).
