shijinmathew1508 Posted April 29, 2013 Share Posted April 29, 2013 Hello Guys, im on an alienware m14xr2 ,ON VMWARE ( installed the same .dmg and worked without any errors ) i partitioned my sandisk 8GB usb flash drive using the disk utility, set to 1 partition. using carbon copy cloner i cloned the image -- PIRATED OS i --ml2 (.dmg) to the usb flash drive, it all was a success without any errors. using ##### installed chimera r2 onto the flash drive. set the laptop to AHCI mode and booted from usb , chimera loaded when i clicked on the install disc the apple logo comes up ( attached image) and does nothing after that. used the boot paramaters -v -x and got this error saying NO INTERVAL FOUND FOR . USING 8000000, and then says STILL WAITING FOR ROOT DEVICE ! (attached image) ive tried all possibe boot parameters specs - i7 3630QM intel HD 4000, Nvidia GeForce 650M 6GB ram 1600Mhz PLEASE HELP THANKYOU !! shijinmathew1508 Posted April 29, 2013 Author Share Posted April 29, 2013 (post by iFire ) try this boot flag: -f -v rd=disk0s2 UseKernelCache=No npci=0x2000 in rd=disk, 0 is your disk , and s2Partition, see your partition, s2 in Example one doubt since i have only one harddisk should i be entering rd=disk0 ? shijinmathew1508 Posted April 30, 2013 Author Share Posted April 30, 2013 Hey Again , i downloaded the retail version on osx ML and followed the instructions given on the link u specified. it gets stuck at this ( attached image) as i am dual booting on same harddrive according to instructions i set usb to MBR partition. any suggestions ? also i am downloading iatkos ml3u as by the other post it was reported working .
