Bulletproof Bob
I have a hackintosh that has been working pretty good for a few days. Then today I couldn't get it out of sleep (it has been sleeping fine) so I powered it off. After a few frozen starts, I finally got an error screen seen below: http://i.imgur.com/vO3etJu.jpg I am running on an SSD drive, if this has anything to do with anything. When looking up this problem I saw a few mentions to issues on an SSD drive. I just rebooted again off USB pointing to the local disk and I got a different error. "Spinlock acquisition timed out" Thread was backupd In verbose mode I am seeing: BootCacheControl: Unable to open /var/db/BootCache.playlist: 2 No such file or directory It sometimes freezes here, sometimes get past it. After 10 or so boots, I cannot get it to boot normally, yet it worked really well for about 3 days.
