uniqezor Posted April 22, 2013 Share Posted April 22, 2013 Hey, I have the possibility to purchase a Macbook Pro (from mid 2008), 15" 2.4Ghz with 10.6 licensed, and not more, something that I dislike. I already have Mac Osx installed on a PC computer but im going to sell it to get a laptop, so I probably will purchase this macbook. So I wanna know, If I install Atko's mac OSx 10.8 version, will it work on this mac? Or I shouldn't purchase this mac laptop? If you mean iATKOS, it is a distribution and it is not meant for real Macs. However on a a Macbook Pro 2008 Mountain Lion will work, all you have to do is to update your "new" Mac to the latest Snow Leopard and then buy Mountain Lion from the App Store for US$19.99. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
