Kosta88
Alright, I am up against another issue: now solved that the computer wakes up (see previous thread, about the sleep/wake problem), I went to bed at 2:43, and set the computer into sleep mode. 4:43 it woke up by the RTC Alarm - what the hell? What is that? Nothing is set in BIOS. Following that, internet wasn't working. Console shows this: 18.04.13 02:34:35,000 kernel[0]: 3876 m00c4c3af:284000 18.04.13 04:34:39,000 kernel[0]: Wake reason: RTC (Alarm) 18.04.13 04:34:39,000 kernel[0]: RTC: Maintenance 2013/4/18 02:29:33, sleep 2013/4/18 00:29:36 18.04.13 04:34:39,000 kernel[0]: RTC: PowerByCalendarDate setting ignored 18.04.13 04:34:39,000 kernel[0]: Graphics suppressed 7 ms 18.04.13 04:34:39,000 kernel[0]: Previous Sleep Cause: 5 18.04.13 04:34:39,159 pppd[678]: PPTP disconnecting... 18.04.13 04:34:39,159 pppd[678]: PPTP disconnected 18.04.13 04:34:39,166 configd[17]: network changed: v4(ppp0-:31.6.45.33) DNS- Proxy- SMB 18.04.13 04:34:39,169 LCore[226]: Reachability Flag Status: -- ------- networkStatusForFlags 18.04.13 04:34:39,170 LCore[226]: Reachability Flag Status: -- ------- networkStatusForFlags 18.04.13 04:34:39,181 configd[17]: network changed: DNS* Proxy 18.04.13 04:34:39,182 configd[17]: SCNC Controller: service_ending_verify_primaryservice, waiting for PrimaryService. status = 1. 18.04.13 04:34:39,184 UserEventAgent[11]: Captive: [mySCCopyWiFiDevices:162] WiFi Device Name == NULL Then a little bit later, again weird reports: 18.04.13 05:57:35,142 WindowServer[106]: handle_will_sleep_auth_and_shield_windows: no action for lock state 1 18.04.13 05:57:35,144 WindowServer[106]: Created shield window 0x11c for display 0x003f003d 18.04.13 05:57:35,144 WindowServer[106]: handle_will_sleep_auth_and_shield_windows: no action for lock state 1 18.04.13 05:57:35,000 kernel[0]: Wake reason: ? 18.04.13 05:57:35,000 kernel[0]: RTC: PowerByCalendarDate setting ignored 18.04.13 05:57:35,000 kernel[0]: Previous Sleep Cause: 5 18.04.13 05:57:36,204 mdworker[713]: Unable to talk to lsboxd 18.04.13 05:57:36,532 sandboxd[714]: ([713]) mdworker(713) deny mach-lookup com.apple.ls.boxd 18.04.13 05:57:36,000 kernel[0]: Sandbox: sandboxd(714) deny mach-lookup com.apple.coresymbolicationd 18.04.13 05:57:36,000 kernel[0]: com_driver_GxxxDriver::probe fails 18.04.13 05:57:36,000 kernel[0]: com_driver_GxxxDriver::probe fails 18.04.13 05:57:36,000 kernel[0]: com_driver_GxxxDriver::probe fails 18.04.13 05:57:38,647 CalendarAgent[200]: [com.apple.calendar.store.log.caldav.queue] [Account refresh failed with error: Error Domain=NSURLErrorDomain Code=-1009 "The Internet connection appears to be offline." Said something about UUID... I think I know what might be wrong with that, I removed the UUID plist from the extras, as I thought it might not be needed. Apparently also was the ethernet down, but I see no reason. I tested wake up before going to sleep, like 5-6 times, and all went well. Any ideas are appreciated! Kosta88
Interesting. I will look those things up, however I don't think these things should cause the Mac to fire up. In the meantime, I was reading about these exact two hours wakeup time, and apparently this is a feature: Bonjour Sleep Proxy. Apparently it sends a wake up command for about 10 seconds and sends the computer back to sleep, but I guess it expects a internet connection to be online. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bonjour_Sleep_Proxy Well, I guess I have to test this further.
