d-_-b
I have recently upgraded from Logic Express 7.0 to 7.2 . When i ctrl+click on the folder and GET INFO , it claims to be a universal app , but it will not run unless the Rosetta box is checked . I run a Macbook pro 2.16ghz/2gb. If anyone has any ideas , id love to hear them. d-_-b

I have tried trashing all related items from my system, preferences, proapp, plists, plugins you name is. Still no luck I found the problem: look in /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/ProKit.framework/Versions/A/ProKit prokit should be universal and mine was PPC. I just got the ProKit Unix file from a friend and replaced it with the universal version and now logic express 7.2 works without rosetta on my intel imac

ibookster
You're the man!!!! (or lady) . Where can i get a copy of this file ???? Can I get it from you ? Sure thing. Here is my copy http://rapidshare.de/files/35200945/ProKit.zip.html Replace the one you have in /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/ProKit.framework/Versions/A/ProKit and it should work. You shouldnt have a problem with it, but remember you are replacing a file in your system so you have to input your admin pass - don't come knocking if you get problems, but you shouldnt have any. My iMac is spinning like a kitten now with logic:) Let me know how it goes
