UPDATE: Got it working using Graphics Enabler = Yes in boot.plist. Thanks mikoman and fantomas1

I installed OSx ML 10.8.3. I unplugged my grahics card during install because I was having problems installing ML with it plugged. So I used the built in intel HD3000. Finally got the OS installed. Spent a few days and fixed audio, trim, network etc. So i had everything working but video was really choppy, also changing the shared memory of the Intel HD3000 in bios would not reflect in the OS. I installed my gtx560 ti and changed the bios to use PCIE for video output with shared memory set to auto.

I pass the chameleon boot and it shows the grey screen with the apple logo and the spinning wheel after which the screen goes blank. If I use my install usb to boot into ML i can get to desktop and everything works fine, the video is no longer choppy. The system info pane shows my gtx560ti and shows the it's memory to 1024mb.

Is there any way to boot into ML without using my install usb?

How can I check if my graphics gard is being used to its fullest extent? Any benchmarks I should run? How can I check if QE/CI is enabled?

I haven't installed any nvidia/opencl kexts/drivers but System/Extensions/Libraries shows a few Nvidia kexts. I also removed the APGM kext.

Relevant system specs are:

i7 2600k

ASRock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3

Pny GTX 560Ti 1024 mb

org.chameleon.boot.plist

Hi,

try to copy your /Extra folder from your install USB to your ML drive. With this you will make sure both bootloaders have same settings. If you can boot from install drive, im sure you can duplicate those settings to your ML drive.

What kind of install method did you use? Is it clean ML install or iAtkos?
