All the best!

I strongly recommend http://www.newegg.ca...VirtualParent=1 as motherboard - I'm using it and I love it. Power management works out of box, for sound use DSDT from http://www.osx86.net...m-hd2_dsdt.html and ALC887 patched AppleHDA. You lose SATA 6GB/s but it's half the price.

He asked cheaper!

I can propose comp#1 from my signature. 100% compatible. Just don't know if it still present in market.

Thanks alot guys I think im going with this

Intel Core i3 3225 3.3GHz LGA 1155 Boxed Processor

Gigabyte B75 HD3

Thermaltake V3 Black Edition ATX Mid Tower Compute

Corsair 4GB DDR3-1333 CL9 Dual Channel Desktop Mem

Inland Silver Series ILS-400-2 400 Watt ATX Power

Western Digital WD Blue 1TB 7,200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s

I know the PSU isnt too good but this is something I don't want to put a gpu in or anything this is more something comparable to a mac mini

A $20 PSU? No, just no. You'll probably end up frying the rest of your build. Go for a Seasonic or a Corsair

Well the issue is its a build for my friend who said $500 at first but also said as cheap as possible also I love seasonic and corsair but I only buy expensive 600 watt 80 plus bronze to gold psus from them is there any you'd recommend in the 40 dollar range that you've personally used?

He can do 350ish this week he doesnt know if he can actually afford 500

A friend of mine told me, many years ago, that I should spend at least 50 Euro for a PSU. How true!

Nowadays I have a 250 Euro PSU (not that you can't have something decent for less).

In my system I have a Corsair tx v2 750 watt

they just cost a ton lol

PSU is probably the only component in a PC that can withstand several upgrades. So it's definitely worth investing a good part of the budget. IMO

and if his budget could fit it I'd go for it. I just want something around $40
