I'm redoing the installation in an effort to get my 7950 to work. I'm on a pretty old GA-X48-DS5 / Core 2 Duo system. I decided to include a custom DSDT (which I'd forgotten last time around when I got the installation to "just work").

The DSDT is basically just an "extract DSDT" + the proper motherboard patch from here: http://olarila.com/forum/packs.php + the ALC889A patch from here: http://olarila.com/forum/patches.php. I put the DSDT in the directory popped up by Pandora.

Now when I boot, I get a KP when booting into the installer (http://cl.ly/OoW5):

Also, I noticed that Pandora has put my DSDT in two places (http://cl.ly/OoBC):

I don't know if this is intentional or not.

I'm not sure what to make of the ACPI error, so any help at all would be extremely welcome. The forum posts I've read have hinted that it could be RAID related, but I'm not using RAID so that can't very well be it.

Sorry guys,

Pandora Beta 2 will be released soon with a lot of changes and bug fixes.

Pandora will also work on Snow Leopard, thanks to the new App with graphical interface, completely rebuilt by Marchrius.

I think that within a few days, so test Beta 1 is considered to be finished!

Wow, like a Retina!

Now I say to colleagues if resolution is supported at boot (only needed for that)...

The extract dsdt is like that inside your bios, it makes no sense to use it.

The bootloader already read the bios it not find DSDT in the Extra folder.

Needless definitely

We have changed the method to create the Recovery HD partition in Pandora Beta2.

However, the aim is not to restore your Hackintosh, but to expand the Apple services, such as iCloud, to use its full potential.

This does not happen if it is not present on your disk, the Recovery HD partition (650 mb and Hidden).

I know I say this as a bit of time that Pandora Beta 2 is ready, but now it really is:

I hope that these days bait for everyone. We are placing some translations in various languages, but is really ready.

I'm sorry, but this work is done in our free time, and we are few people to do it.

Stay tuned

Hey. I got a USB key to boot Moutain Lion 10.8.3. but whe I try to run the installer I get a messsage

Mac OS X can't be installed on this computer.

IC_Unsupported_Platform

If you want to restore your system from a Timae Machine backup, click "Restor from Backup".

I'm on a Gigabyte Z86XP-UD3 Rev 1.3 with UEFI BIOS, Core i3 processor that has HD3000 graphics, 16GB of RAM and a Blange 1.5TB Seagate Barracude.

I just want to get my system up and running before I add my Geforce GT220 back in.

Any help would be great.

Found an issue with the 10.8.4 installer downloaded from the App store. 10.8.3 installer works fine with Pandora but when I downloaded the 10.8.4 installer and tried to make a bootable USB or DVD it stops at this point:

Copying OSInstall.mpkg to be patched
cp: /Applications/Pandora.app/Contents/Resources/Base/MBR_DISTRIBUTION/1084/Distribution: No such file or directory

From this point on Pandora no longer works. I had to trash it and redownload it. I went back to the 10.8.3 installer and it works again.

Not a big deal for me as I can just update to 10.8.4 after install but I thought you might like to know.

Thanks for the great tool!
