I also get the white screen after boot with HD 7950 that can be fixed with sleep.

Can you run OceanWave OpenCL bench with your 7950? For my knowledge we have already 7970 results but not 7950.
Real MacPro USers may be interested how that great GPU perform against week 4870 Mac / 5870 Mac running OpenCL.
Both getting very less fps - even the newer iMac 6xxxM gpus running much faster.
PS: If you submit results please add 7950 as gpu type, because the AMD OpenGL Info mostly only shows some Thaiti (XT) Info.

Everything is OK here, only this issues:

Clean install 10.8.3 with Smbios Mac pro 5.1 on 3570k (XMP 1) and GTX 660 Gpu.
Much better power management (i think) on ivy bridge goes the Geekbench 1200 points + More.

I also upgrade my system without any complicated problems. I  had to re-patched only three kext AppleHDA, ATI5000Controller, and AppleSmartBatteryManager.
Very strange that GraphicEnabler=Yes were broken on my computer and I have no savvy why.(memory allocation error). But I did not use this rarity for a long time(Graphics is started up by DSDT)
So that I used XPC during upgrading.
By the way, for those people who has the problem with ATICard and AppleDVDPlayer. Please leave feedback.
Don't just launch DVDPlayer with battery. You must check the ability of playing movies exactly. Put DVDDisk into your computer and  look at whether  you DVDPlayer can play movies.
This  problem is only for those who use ATI+Any battery kext.

I got that IOHIDEvent thing message in my console too, but I got it on 10.8.2 too. So I think it's not related to 10.8.3.
(I also getting Dock[143]: Unable to open IOHIDSystem (e00002bd) in console sometimes... it appears randomly, I got the dock and the IOHIDEvent message 3 times today.)

Syba firewire 800 card reported not working in 10.8.3 Also Sonnet Presto Gig E card reported not working with 10.8.3. Both of these cards formerly worked OOB without any software mods. Can anyone confirm that they are broken ( or working)?

Also Nvidia cards seem to have a 20-30 percent OpenCl performance drop after the update. Anyone else notice lower scores in  Lumark, Waves, other? Any tests on adobe open CL / Cuda apps in 10.8.3?

Updated fine, used combo updater reboot, fix- AppleHDA.kext via kexthelper & deleted System/Library/Caches/

com.apple.kext.caches folder reboot.

No problems noticed so far.
