Did you get that result with all other apps closed except for GeekBench itself?

Precisely the opposite! You need a custom ssdt for you system for it to speedstep properly. You're getting no turbo states, thus the low scores.

First, let's see if this is really the problem!

Click on the Apple logo at the top left corner of the screen and select About This Mac> More Info> System Report, then scroll down the pop-up window and click in extensions at the list located in the left. Search for a next called X86PlatformPlugin.kext: if it's not loaded, then you need to set PM up.

All the best!

To: Changerrs. (maybe too late, but there is others too who read this)

You have choice separate video card anyway ? Why pay video inside processor ?

i5-3570k -> Intel Xeon E3-1240 V2 ? Xeon has hyper threading.

Asus GeForce GTX 670 Direct CU mini should works out " of the box", and seems

to be reasonable size. Too many oversized video card block lower disk places in
old school atx style cases. This is irritating. Very irritating.

New model Xeon not need ecc -memory. Dual thunderbolt gigabyte motherboard
can use xeon with the last bios.

If You are not hurry, maybe You should wait haswell and 10.9 ?

T -.-
