Asus G73JH boot problems

Mountain Lion installed and almost fully operational, accept laptop cannot boot without the use of the ##### Flash drive.  Whatever boot software that's on the flash drive, can it be extracted\transferred to the fixed laptop drive?  In certain cases the laptop can boot in safe mode (-x -s) without the assistance of the flash drive.
HELP I'm so close to perfection.  Not using any DSDTs only kexts.
