Hello, as the title states I am overclocking a customer's system. Specs:

AMD Phenom II x4 B60 (x2 unlocked)

MSI GM-e43 MB

10GB corsair Vengeance

Antec 620W PSU *Brand NEW*

GTX 430 (7770 later)

an array of 4 HDD's

Basically I Prime95 tested the system stable at 3.5GHz, but wanted to see if this cpu was stable at 3.7, and during that prime95 run the PC all of a sudden shut off and I haven't been able to restart it. The core voltage isn't yellow or red in the bios (before this issue), so could it be the brand new PSU? Anyone have any ideas?

First of all, i know it's pretty basics but maybe you didn't covered it: did you tried to unplug PSU, removed battery, wait 5-10 minutes and then reset BIOS with the jumper? It's "manual stuff" but this saved my "life" tons of times when OC'ing.

Second, is the system wanting to start at any point? I mean, when you hit the power button, is the system trying to start? Fans are spinning on and then off? Some leds are turning on? Does the MoBO halt on POST? Give us some clues to isolate the problem to one component.

Thanks!
