I have a lenovo g780 and after many problems able to install mac os mountain lion 10.8.2. Now i have graphic issues.

I have screen resolution with champlist, but no acceleration.

My specs:

Intel Corei5 3210
8 GB Ram
Intel HD4000 Graphics
Atheros AR9285 Wifi Card (Changed from the dreaded BCM4313)


I got this from VLC:


Your Mac OpenGL acceleration is not supported on your Mac
lacks Quartz Extreme acceleration, which is required for video output. It will still work, but much slower and with possibly with unexpected results.

I don't know what to do. I tried many strings but it made mountain lion boot to a black screen. I

Can you provide some hardware information?
What strings did you use?
DSDT present?
etc..

I have no DSDT
The string I used was for the Lenovo G580.

You could try other strings, there is a list somewhere, forgot the topic, so bumping.

The string inside the org.chameleon.boot.plist in that folder should work. I have used that string on three different laptops with the 3210 cpu and video works correctly on all using that string.

i tried it twice and I boot into a black screen. With GraphicsEnabler=No and GraphicsEnabler=Yes.
