Dmasterz Posted March 2, 2013 Share Posted March 2, 2013 OK first the Tech Details: ALC888s ( Im 90% Sure ) Realtek Intel High Definition Audio (293e:8086) I've tried every appleHDA kext even tried editing them.. no success at all… Even DSDT (Attached)… This bit confuses me a little at the moment not sure if I've done it right. I'm using VoodooHDA 2.8.2 r86 32_64bit (attached kext) at the moment and inputs outputs work, not sure on HDMI though, but there is a major Larsen Effect that i can't get rid of… can anyone shed any light on my situation?? would be greatly appreciated dsdt and kext.zip Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Can you upload your edited AppleHDA, and codec extracted from linux? Lejenk: Ill Fire up linux and do that just now and post them.. again guys sorry and thank you I cant seem to get any info on the audio codec in linux but in windows Realtek Audio Manager it shows as Realtek ALC888s... I'm Using VoodooHDA at the moment with no appleHDA kexts as its the only thing iv got close to working... shall i uninstall voodooHDA and Install Mountain Lion appleHDA again?? thanks for the help...
