HP Webcam-101 Problem

Ok so I'm running 10.8.2 on my Hp Pavilion Laptop and can't quite get my webcam to work. When I start Facetime or Photobooth, the light comes on indicating that the webcam has been turned on and Photobooth even lists it as HP Webcam-101 yet the loading circle just keeps spinning and Facetime doesn't even seem to do anything. I can't seem to find anything about it on google.

oh thanks it works but still how do I get facetime and photobooth to work?
