claver
Hi everyone. I've successfully installed Mountain Lion 10.8.2 (retail+combo update) on my Acer Aspire 5740G. You can find the kext I have used in this topic: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/282096-solved-post-installation-ml-1082-on-acer-aspire-5740g/Yesterday I installed voodoohda 2.8.2 from here: http://www.osx86.net...installer.html. The speakers work and the HDMI is recognised (but don't work...) but the microphone doesn't work. Before, with voodoohda 2.7.4, it works perfectly. Any idea for fix this problem? The specs of my PC are in my signature (my sound card is the alc272). I use clover bootloader. Thanks and sorry for my english,-Claudio
GhostRaider
I'm not sure why nobody has helped you, but you will need to use a custom VoodooHDA kext. VoodooHDA 2.8.2 does not support our audio correctly. I had that same problem. My Gateway NV5932u also has ALC272. The audio worked but the internal mic nor the pink mic port worked. This kext fixed it. Works on Mountain Lion 10.8+ All you have to do is delete the VoodooHDA.kext from System/Library/Extensions and install this custom kext designed for ALC272. Remember to rebuild cache and restart your computer. Download it below.
