iFIRE Posted February 8, 2013 Share Posted February 8, 2013 el device id de los EHCI esta correcto nel kext y nel dsdt, talves sea porque tu has modificado el device del XHCI, vuelve dejar como estaba, para hacer una prueba quitas el dsdt de Extra y reboot para ver lo que pasa. nel DSDT hai dos portos EHCI1 Y EHC2 and dos HUBS y varios devices, y 1 porto XHCI 1 HUB y varios devices, si miras nel DSDT veras que todos tienen el device id inject correcto, este es problema com device en los kexts. With the unpatched kext my USB 3.0 are detected as Superspeed USB 3.0 in system profiler, but as soon as i plug anything, the system freezes. My lappy is an Asus G75VW-BH71-CB. Any ideas ? Thank you very much for your help. In fact the USB 3.0 worked nativelly without any modifications when i disabled Legacy USB at Bios and Enabled Pre-Boot XHCI. Good speeds and no freezes. What i need to make work Os X on my laptop, apart of the Extra, DSDT mods, and Fixes to USB3 and HDA? There are subtle changes between the configuration on this post and my configuration (a PCI bridge for PCI-Ex and the AMD Radeon 7570 [that is a Muxless one]). Do you think it could work? I really don't care if the AMD one doesn't works. With the integrated one from Intel is fine. Las diferencias que veo son el Puente PCI para el PCI-Express y la Gráfica Discreta AMD HD 7570M (que viene con mi modelo, y hasta donde se, es Muxless, no accede a la pantalla, solo renderiza.) ¿Creen que pueda hacer funcionar la Lap con ML? Can you disable your dedicated graphics in BIOS? It isn't possible to disable the dedicated graphics on BIOS, but i'll try using GraphicsEnabler=No and post the results. Tengo una pregunta; como puedo habilitar el audio por HDMI, he leido que se necesita hacer una modificación en el DSDT. Podrías por favor ayudarme con esto. Muchas gracias. Tengo otro problema que para mi es mas importante que lo del audio por HDMI; se trata del brillo, siempre que reinicio el brillo se resetea y tambien cuando el equipo despierta, lo hace con el brillo al máximo, pareciera ser que mas del 100% del que se puede configurar con el slider de preferencias. He buscado por todos lados alguna solución, pero no he tenido suerte. Quizá sea problema del DSDT pero no estoy seguro. Tienes alguna idea de como solucionar esto? Dr. Hurt Posted February 21, 2013 Share Posted February 21, 2013 Just wanted to say that this laptop doesn't have LaCie USB 3.0 and therefore, you don't need PXHCD. It has intel USB 3.0 which doesn't work with USB 2.0 devices under os x. To fix this, delete the AppleUSBXHCI.kext in IOUSBFamily.kext. Lets resume what i got to the moment: 1.- I've actually managed to boot correctly the usb installer and to install ML on my Inspiron 14z 5423. Since that, i cannot boot on "Normal" mode. Just on Safe Mode. (On Normal Mode the last line shows an error about Sandbox deny mach-lookup com.apple.coresymbolicationd) 4.- Also, i've run ssdtPRGen and configured org.chameleon.boot.plist to drop SSDT. I'm using a MBP 9.2 smbios. 5.- I have not yet edited or patched my DSDT with something in particular. Should I patch to consider anything? 6.- I don't have sound, neither Wifi, or Ethernet working. Webcam works normally. Bluetooth seems to work, but i haven't tested it yet. 7.- My laptop came with a hybrid graphics set (HD4000/Ati HD 7570M).
