Pandora's Box

Thanks, I finally managed to upgrade to Sierra, but as expected, now I have two other problems:

1. When I left or right click my laptop's mouse buttons, it actually clicking 4 times (like two x double click, but I only hit the button once), the laptop is a Lenovo x201 and I think the problem is with AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext, with VoodooPS2 I get KP

LE: Also in System Preferences, when I enter Trackpad settings, no options appear, jut a grey window

LLE: Just realise that this a known issue with Sierra, applied some workaround, the Trackpad is now working properly, but the physical laptop's click buttons, still won't work as they should...

Solved by replacing Preference Panel with the one from 10.11 and by using the latest VoodooPS2 kext

2. I can only boot up with Natit.kext, but this also happened with El Cap, no matter what version of FB I used

Solved by using SMBIOS MacBook Pro 6.1

I've a problem trying to wake up after sleep my computer. I know system starts properly but screen keeps off. Any idea?

I'm waiting for solving this before install everything in my SSD.

You need a properly patched DSDT for your device, in order to get that work.

Well, what do I have to edit in order to get it working properly?

Unfortunately, no easy way of doing that, presuming that you are using Clover, start by taking a deeper look here: https://clover-wiki.zetam.org/Configuration/ACPI

If you are using a laptop, you may be lucky enough, and find someone else that already patched the DSDT for that specific model...

Any solution for brightness slider in display settings is working in reverse direction

Increase the slider decreases the brightness and vice versa

Intel Hd 1st gen QE/CI enabled

But

It was working fine on Yosemite

My DSDT is patched

This issue occurs only on el capitan and sierra

Hello,

I hope everyone can help me

I have a Notebook with a Intel CORE i5 430M Arrandale CPU with Intel HD Graphics (1 generation).

My native resolution is 1366x768

I am proceeding as described in the manual.

Unfortunately without success. :wallbash:

I have already tried all framebuffer.

For example, if I take the normal LW1 frame buffer, after the boot comes a scrambled screen.

On this scrambled screen one can see that QE / CI are active. :hammer:

If I then remove the patched framebuffer again, then the picture is blurred and much jerky.

In the system information, I can see if the framebuffer is out, that no IntelHDGraphic Kext is active.

Thanks in advance :D

Exactly the same scrambled screen I have:

Thank you for your fast response.
I've used the kext from this tutorial and got messed up screen.
Boot went fine and the screen is scrambled.

Here is the photo I've took to show you how exactly it looks like:

Please use SMBios MacbookPro 6,1

If u r using clover PatchVbios should be selected

That will fix the glitch and use the graphics kext

After the SMBIOS is added, USB does not work anymore

I have the problem with the SMBios get under control.

I think now I have done everything right.

But OSX stops at booting.
No error messages.
This looks like frozen.
He is not yet completely finished with the messages, if he (freezes)
Without the IntelHDGraphicsFB.kext I can boot normally

Hi, I have Samsung Q330 laptop from 2010 with Arrandale graphics.

I am trying to create the macOS Sierra install USB.

The link you have in the original post for Clover special edition, does not work! Do you have an updated link?

I have tried to use normal Clover version, but I cannot access Extensions folder even with hidden folders enabled!

What can I do?
