now i have el capitan.. :D

but... all my usb ports are not working, they are usb 2.0. any help for this?

 

and, brightness slider also not working

So what do you have working then? And well Apple and I aren't forcing users to try a developer preview with so many bugs as stated in the release notes. :P

for those who have intel hd graphics 1º gen (arrandale) and want to dual boot yose and el cap at same time using the patch on the fly for both, follow the example of my config.plist. you can copy paste if you want.

 

basicaly adds the new patch needed for el cap without removing the yose one. no problems with compatibility.

 

all on the fly with clover...

I anyone able to help me with getting my screen to work? here are my linux dump and EDID. I was using everything but after installing framebuffer kext I get white screen. Only VNC connection is available.
I was using pre-fixed kexts and HD Graphics patcher. WHen I remove framebuffer kext I get QE on VNC but screen is blank. When I install kext I gen white screen and no display identification via vnc. Also OS can't inject proper EDID. I see that my PC has LVDS connector enabled so it should work.

What's wrong?

I am trying to get the 1st gen Intel Graphics of my HP Elitebook 8440p running on Mavericks 10.9.5. I followed the guide for CI only cause the laptop uses eDP. After deleting the original kexts and installing the ones distributed in this thread + reboot, I end up with a completely unusable distorted screen. I already boot using Chameleon. Any suggestions? Don't know what to do..

Do you mean the various alternate framebuffers? Aren't they only available within the CI/QE Package?

 

I only have the following kext installed for AppleIntelHDGraphics* like suggested in the guide:

I also recognized this error while starting up:

Currently I don't have any framebuffer installed, as suggested in the guide (removed AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext but got no replacement), the CI/QE framebuffer kexts likely won't work because they don't support displays attached via eDP. When using the original framebuffer shipped with 10.9.5 I got stuck on a black screen after boot. Trying the normal/alt1 of the CI/QE framebuffers also leaves me with a black screen.

I anyone able to help me with getting my screen to work? here are my linux dump and EDID. I was using everything but after installing framebuffer kext I get white screen. Only VNC connection is available.

I was using pre-fixed kexts and HD Graphics patcher. WHen I remove framebuffer kext I get QE on VNC but screen is blank. When I install kext I gen white screen and no display identification via vnc. Also OS can't inject proper EDID. I see that my PC has LVDS connector enabled so it should work.

 

What's wrong?

OS X El Capitan Golden Master was released. Do this patch work with it?

 

 

I tried with Beta 1 but it get struck while booting.

 

Sorry, I have not tried it on my old laptop. Planning on doing so when Apple officially releases it. If you patch the frame buffer with Giofrida's Intel HD Graphics patcher it should work. Remember that you must remove the AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB and AppleIntelHDGraphics.kext from the USB. So you make a backup of those two kexts and save them somewhere accessible. Then when OS X is installed you patch them and install them using Kext Utility.

Hi, i have Yosemite on my Hp laptop but this osx is a little slow, so i'm trying to install Snow Leopard. Deleting all AppleIntelHD....... kext the osx boot, but now i'm searching how to have right resolution and if it's possible to have QE/CI. I read various thread and tried different kext but i get always kernel panic. Anyone can help me? Thanks

Yes now i'm trying Mountain Lion because is the first osx with 100% IntelHD patching. But i read snow leopard it's the fastest osx, so i want to try. 

I've also tried to install snow leopard to my pc too.. it think it will boot with snow leopard starting 10.6.7 to 8. i've got force reboot when tried to boot 10.6 dvd. and distro too.
