My computer specks of my HP DC7700 with specks found in link

Added hardwhere incluede

Pentium D 3.4GHZ

Intel 965Q Express Chipset

3gb of ram

ASUS WL-138g V2 network card - PCI

ASUS NVIDIA GeForce 6600 video card -PCIe

Alright everything woked great when I installed Iatkos S3 V2 and deleted AppleHPET.kext

the reason why I deleted AppleHPET.kext was so I could get the USB to work as well as the network card and it worked when I had 10.6.3 but when I upgraded to 10.6.8 I had to delete AppleHPET.kext again and this time it only fixed my USB but OSX is not reading my network card and also it is restarts when ever I try to shutdown with 10.6.8

Can anyone please help me?

but when I upgraded to 10.6.8
How? Via combo update or just reinstalled newer version from distro?

Have you replaced the kernel to appropriate newer version? The CPU in your PC AFAIK is not supported by genuine OS X kernel - only patched kernels would work.

You should also know that early versions of Sl could work without custom DSDT, while with X.6.8 custom DSDT is required (along with FakeSMC.kext).

yes it was a combo update first to 10.6.7 then to 10.6.8 and each time I had to delete AppleHPET.kext because it disabled my USB ports and mouse. and another thing to note after the 10.6.7 update my PS/2 mouse stopped working but my PS/2 Keybord worked fine.

another thing to note deleteing AppleHPET.kext fixed my USB issues and my Network card when I was running 10.6.3

I don't know what patched kernels to get because I don't know anything about macs
