Still no luck with getting past the bootloader loop issue. Im not sure how to change the kernel for installation purposes?

Im trying to install Snow Leopard with no luck

I had it described to you yesterday in detail how do to the kernel via Windows using MacDrive or transmac move to root (the main directory of your Hackintosh HDD)

Edit:

sorry guys and girls, these are the basics,  as you should read some times, there is as far as I can remember since 2001 much worth reading information online, youtube is a very good alternative,

Edit2:

look here maybe that's help you to install Snow Leopard on your Hackintosh ( FYI: this link is based on the settings of the GA 990 FXA UD3 board )

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/284202-amd-guide-install-snow-leopard-1068-on-gigabyte-ga-990fxa-ud3/

it is very important that you set your bios settings correct! install it as I have already written them yesterday the MOD CD by nawcom which will allow them the boot of snow leopard, otherwise I have no idea how to help u

Hi guys, I have a bit of a ploblem.

I recently upgraded my processor from a Phenom II X6 1075 to a FX-8320 8-core processor. It runs great, but I can't boot into my OS X installations, neither SL or ML. I don't mind getting rid of SL, but I would really like ML to work again. I was using AnV's amd_kernel, and I thought it would work for my FX, but all I get is instant reboots. Is there a special boot flag I'm supposed to use for the FX? Or do I need to use another kernel (which I have no idea how to get on there w/o access to OS X)? Thanks in advance, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Still no luck with trying to install snow leopard. I tried hazard 10.6.1 & 10.6.2 but it still reboots after the bootloader OR tring it with MODCD gives me this error below without rebooting.

you need  AMD Kernel for your FX-8320 CPU  look here --------> http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/category/6-kernels/

disconnect all non-essential necessary hardware

If you have more than 4GB of RAM then take this out of your system, take only 2GB - 4GB. After successful installation of Snow Leopard, then you can connect the other hardware and the remaining RAM.

Booting with the nawcom CD, then remove nawcom CD, than insert Snow Leopard disc in the drive and hit the F5 key. and booting with the following boot flag:

rd(0,0)/Extra/modbin-kernel -force64 -v -f

with the Disk Utility, the OS X HDD with GUID partition,

Adjusting installation only the most necessary that is, no sound, no network card etc. that you can do to successfully install later.

Thank you, I was just reading about that. Now I don't exacly know how to get the kernel on my ML partition since I can't boot into OS X. Could I put the kernel on a USB drive and boot from that? Would that work?

EDIT: Nevermind, did some Googleing on mounting HFS+ with Ubuntu, swapped kernels, and up and running again. BTW, getting a bunch of "Blacklist enabled" messages on verbose boot, but it still boots fine. I hope that's normal. Thank you Spakk. and thank you Sinetek for the FX kernel.

no problem if you have a different operating system such as Linux or Windows, then you can installing the new kernel via plug and play to root their OSX partition.

with Windows operating system, it is very easy, as there are tools such as, for example: MacDrive or Transmac, they allow them to access on their OSX partition.

There is also the possibility of using a USB stick to copy a new kernel on your OSX partition, please use the google search engine for input_code.

More information and input contact  better Gils a forum member from France, he has very good experience with FX CPU and the set of clover bootloader! :wink_anim:

You are this time got very far, and have gathered experience!

On a new one! reformat and reinstall everything new again

Learn out from previous mistakes

Never install several drivers at the same time, always step by step, to fix the problem

Then you should be able .. :D:thumbsup_anim:

I tried the fix from iATKOS L2 install customisation which should fix the PCI Configuration begin error for some motherboards but seems not working for me.

Tried booting with various flags but nothing seems to work, but i noticed that when i boot it says "Using PCIRootUID=0" or something near that, so i tried to use with PCIRootUID=1 but it didnt work either :/

Got this error during boot, ideas are welcome ;)

The newest Lion kernel doesn't work with iATKOS L2

RC15 Stuck on me at [PCI Begin Configuration Begin]

Didn't help npci 0x2000 or 0x3000

Use the Kernel: "mach_kernel_10_7_5_FX_RC7_TEST_FSB" by Bronzovka to boot, replace the files with the vanilla files OR ones from myHack (better yet use myHack for a new install)

Hey spakk when I tried to help last time his spec was the following

Motherboard: Gigabyte

GA-390XA-UD3

Processor AMD Phenom II X4

Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 4800

RAM: 4GB

Im trying to install Mac on my desktop but with no success so far. I was able to install Leopard but all it does when i try to boot is restart itself everytime. I also have the same issue with a Mountain Lion dvd/usb or niresh.

I was curious as to what osx installation is best for my PC and is there a way to get past the reboot loop issue that im having

Also note, the ModCD version that he is using does have problems (I've used it in the past then downgraded to a different version)

Hey i got some progress here! Booting with npci=0x2000 i went to apple logo screen (not rotating circle) after installing Duran's PCI config fix

then boot with npci=0x2000 PCIRootUID=0 -v -f  so that we can see where the system stucks
