Internal PCI-E Card Reader?

I am building a Hackintosh from scratch with a GA-Z77-DS3H.

My question is regarding internal card readers (SD, SDHC, SDXC, CF, etc...)

I do a lot of photography and video editing, so I need to be able to read/write SD cards with better speed than a USB2.0 adapter.

Are there internal card readers (PCI-E or otherwise) that will work with Mountain Lion with no problems?

Thanks

No, you are limited to the speed of the cards which is the same as USB 2.0. Your thoughts about this seems to be miss placed. Just make sure all your cards are Class 10 for best performance.

This is the model I use:

Thank you. I did misspeak about the USB2.0. I meant that my experience with external USB2.0 card readers has been hit and miss. My confusion was more broadly about whether USB card readers generally worked with OS X. So I guess they do.

Thanks again

No, not all internal ones work.
