Salve a tutti, mi è stato regalato quasto pc nuovo, lo Sleekbook HP Pavilion 15-b040sl con intel i5 e nvidia gt 630m da 2 gb.Ho provato a far partire una distro iatkos tanto per iniziare ma si blocca subito ovvero il boot loader carica le sue solite cose , poi al passaggio alla schermata nera si blocca e non si vede piu nulla, ho avviato anche con -x ma sempre la stessa identica cosa, carica tutti i kext ma al passaggio della skermata nera si blocca e pure il lettore smette di girare. Ho pravato a fare il boot della retail ma non mi vedeva nemmeno la kiavette se invece provo con la niresh 10.8 si riavvia come sul vecchio pc che avevo. che fare? avete qualche dritta?Vi posto in dettaglio un report di everest.

First put your hardware in your signature, and  for hp you need patched kernel, or boot with -f -v GraphicsEnabler=No npci=0x2000 cpus=1  and a SMBIOS according your i5

can you give me an help, i have tried to extract dsdt with windows but i have no idea which fix i need and return various error and i'm unable to compile.

i have made some progress, i have in extra folders the smbios that i have posted before i have used you extra folder in the other topics and finally i can get installer working but the trackpad doesn't work and under disk utility i can't see my hd. i have booted only with -v flag, if i try your flag method i'm stuck but your smbios i think it's better. i have attached a screen.Now i need only that disk utility can see the hd

There isn't that option, on my bios i can only change that:
virtualization tecnology on
card reader powersaving
fan always on
usb 3.0 configuration in pre-os
boot option.
in boot option i can only  enable disable legacy support and the boot order

virtualization and USB 3.0 and use for boot from port usb 2.0, put this two kexts in Extra/Extensions

Installation terminated successfully. i have tried to boot only with -v but i'm stuck after mounting disk partition i think.

i haven't tryed with that flag but i have booted win 8 and i have installed macdrive to have access to mac partition. i see under s/l/e that there isn't nullcpumanagement and fakesmc. i need to put that kext to get it working without the flag?

I have tryed with your metod but it doesen't work. if i tipe GraphicsEnabler=No the bootloader remaining stuck over FADT: restart fix applied!!!
But if i tipe the rest witouth GE=No i have the same problem, I'm stuck over NTFS warning (The last pic)

Someone have take a look at my problem? i think that the problem is the cpu because i see that error: IOPlatformPluginUtil : getCPUIDInfo: this is an unknown CPU model 0x3a and after that the system wan't boot up. Any idea? i have tried with this flag -v CraphicsEnamler=no cpus=1 npci=0x2000 but no solution the problem still the same. Ifire told me to put also the -f flag, but if i tips this flagh the boot loader still remainig under FADT=restart fix applied!!! How tu solve that issue?

ok, copy all kexts from USBInstaller  Extra/Extensions for S/L/E and in S/L/E delete all kexts NVIDIA and reboot with -f -v GraphicsEnabler=No npci=0x2000

Ok, i'm doing it now, i have search over the internet about that cpu problem and i have see that it is not important to start windows, but if u take a look at the last pic u can see that i'm stuck when the boot loader see the ntfs partition and ask to do a check disk. is it my problem?

it is a problem with NVDIA KEXTS, is a bug from the boot loader, your card NVIDIA don´t work in MAC OS X, DELETE all NVDIA kexts

Ok, i have removed geeforce and other next nvidia related, installed a new version of chameleon on the usb stik and try to boot with the flag that u told me but i'm stuck at loading applehda,kext. why is the boot loader  stuck trying to load kext?I make some useful step, i remember that after touching S/L/E i need to repair permission, i boot into usb key and i repair permission then i boot only on -v and the post install show me to select language and keyboard but after that i'm unable to put anything because internal mouse and keyboard don't work. What kind of next i need to get it working?

boot with -f for ignoring caches and force the system load the kexts fro S/L/E if your keyboard not work use a USB or search for voodoo kexts ,
