If the bios has an option to switch to descrete graphics only, it might work. Otherwise you need a bios mod. But this seems to be only possible, if this option is implemented in the bios of your laptop and only hidden. To proof this existing option you have to extract the ACPI tables in windows to a file and search in it for "descrete" or "dedicated" gfx option. Use a tool like AIDA64 for this. Have fun.
