UnderworldOSX86
Hi I have been trying to get my laptop (Asus U50Vg) to wake up, but with all things I've done it seems like an impossible task. I have an Asus U50Vg which sleeps perfectly when I don't have bluetooth enabled, the problem is when I try to wake up the laptop. It wakes; but the screen is blank and there's nothing I can do but hold down the power button to forcefully shut it down. I have tried the console method to diagnos what's happening when I tried to wake the laptop, but nothing gets logged in the console. So this just means one thing, the OS is never loading back up at all. I do not just have a blank screen, the whole OS is not coming back. I don't get it, I have everything necessary for sleep: No nullcpupowermanagement, sleepenabler or anything related. SpeedStep working RTC Patch USB recognized as built in. AppleHPET and AppleLPC loaded Patches applied to DSDT, Injection of GPU also. darkwake=0, darkwake=1, npci=0x3000 in org.chameleon.Boot.plist Disabled DVD Drive in Bios I'm out of ideas. I hoping that one you DSDT Masters can help me out with it. I would really appreciate if someone could take a look at my DSDT and point me in the right direction to fix this problem. I will attach my IOreg, DSDT(Patched) and my Vanilla DSDT. DSDT.zip
tanguy_k
Wait for several minutes and it will eventually wake up. With my ASUS P5E3 Premium motherboard I have to wait 4 minutes. I've centralised several solutions here: https://github.com/tkrotoff/ASUS-P5E3Premium-Hackintosh/issues/
UnderworldOSX86
I tried to wake and leave the computer for several minutes (10 min) but it didn't wake up, and again, nothing logged in console. This is really weird.
