Possible to install OS X with only VGA port?

HD2000 is unsupported and will never be supported. So it will never allow the install screen to appear without the removal of a lot of kexts. Same out come as well.

 

Got it. My gfx card will be here on Thursday so I won't install till then. Thanks.

My card is a EVGA 8400 GS. Do I need to use the DVI port to install, or can I use the vga port on the card? Thank you and Happy New Year!

 

It's the 1gb version by the way.

ML is having a lot of issues with that GPU. Only 2 ports work on any pre 6xx series. So you will just have to find out...

Sorry for bugging you, but I have one more question. I have a PS/2 keyboard. Will this be able to be used while installing? Thanks again!
