I tried to install a "hacked" version of Tiger on my Pc laptop compaq presario v3016 but the instalation does not find any HDD's to install on. I have the same problem if I try to install another version of Windows...i think it;'s something like a protection from compaq that i have to get rid of... Can anybody help me with this? boon4376 Posted January 11, 2007 Share Posted January 11, 2007 IS this the first time you've tried installing OS X86? When in the installer, open up in the menu "utilities" -> "disk utility" and format a portion of the disk so that the installer can recognize it.
