Rammjet
You have to set the OSX partition "active". You can use a Windows or Linux partition utility or follow this: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=22844

xDmx
Ok smokey im not sure if you got this fixed but as my first post i would like to help someone before i get my own problem fixed ..... sooo first you are going to have to make the drive active **which is basicly telling the computer that this drive has a OS and can be booted from** to do this is much easyer said then it has been before.... I use a boot dics called hiren's boot CD 8.1 it has partition magic find that and click its number (you will see what i mean)then pick your hd or in your case hd image. Reboot and all will work................................. To boot a disc in *VMWARE* hit esc when the vm is starting it wll bring you to a boot screen.... Please answer if this worked
