Hi guys,

I have a strange problem: I have installed Clover on a fat32 usb stick and use it as my bootmanager, but it boots up to the (EFI) bootmanager in stead of the  GUI of Clover.

I have to go through the EFI bootmanager to select the USB device to boot from and only after that I get the GUI. What is happening? I used to get immediately the GUI.

Sometimes it works okay and I get Clover GUI and most of the times I get the Blue/White bootmanager (EFI bootmanager/shell).

Do I have to set something new in config.plist?

FYI: the update function in the prefpane is still borked. (got this problem starting with 3128 I think)

i.e. if you manually check for updates by clicking "check now", the little popup that should follow (the one that tells you to update or not) is still missing.

I see the same Clover in both logs.

"Drop table" is not "load table"

Hello! I just reinstalled yosemite and i can't manage to make the efi partition to mount automatically at startup. The option from clover preference pane won't work, it just resets to "no" at every boot and from what i can see, there is no more mount efi in clover configurator. Is there a new way to make it automatically mount itself? Thank you!

And a second small question: Does it have any logic that my pc boots faster without ssdt than with it? I'm just asking, it is normal in some cases that boot should take longer with a ssdt than without it? And when i say longer i mean 2-3-4 seconds more.

The logic would be anything that needs to be read/loaded from a drive will take an extra amount of time to get done as it goes through those steps.

And to that may I add a hope that some day loading a 3KB file from a disk drive will take a millisecond instead of 3-4 seconds.

I can understand that, i was trying to understand if those extra steps are necessary but i managed to get a boot.log from both ways and i can already spot some differences. Anyway i was not crying about those 2-3 extra seconds, just to get more info if this is normal, generally speaking.

Thanks.

Still, is there an argument i can add in clover config so that my efi would auto mount at startup?

Is it possible to install Windows ISO to SSD partition use clover on legacy BIOS boot and GPT partition scheme?

PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-118L IDE optical drive doesn't work,so I reinstall Yosemite and it works.I don't know which to change, how and why does it work?

Doesn't work again,I don't change anything,why this happened?

Figure out why my IDE optical drive doesn't work, clover doesn't inject ApplePCIIDE.kext,I install it with KextUtility in /S/L/E,problem solved.I don't know this instruction #30 explain this thing.

Figure out

	<key>SystemParameters</key>
	<dict>
 <key>InjectKexts</key>
 <string>Detect</string>
	</dict>

Detect - Kexts from /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/ will be injected only if FakeSMC is not present in the kernelcache

http://clover-wiki.zetam.org/Configuration/SystemParameters#InjectKexts

This solved my problem,I install HWMonitor make Clover doesn't inject kexts,is this wiki write by you slice?

But there is another problem,I use sleep and wake up and overclock, here is my overclock settings

CPU Clock Ratio...........................9 x
CPU Clock.................................445 MHz

Voltage Setting Page
CPU VID Special Add.......................+250mV
DRAM Voltage Control......................2.290V
CPU GTL 0/2 REF Volt......................0.63X
CPU GTL 1/3 REF Volt......................0.61X
North Bridge GTL REF Volt.................0.58X

CAS Latency Time (tCL)....................5
RAS# to CAS# Delay (tRCD).................6
RAS# Precharge (tRP)......................6
Precharge Delay (tRAS)....................18

When I use wake up from sleep with 445x9,instant of restart. With 400x9,wake up fine.I think the problem is BIOS use the default settings to overclock 445x9,which only works on 400x9.How can I use wake up and overclock both?

I find out I cannot wake up from sleep with 445x9 in yosemite,so I use

CPU Clock Ratio...........................9 x
CPU Clock.................................430 MHz

Voltage Setting Page
CPU VID Special Add.......................+300mV
DRAM Voltage Control......................2.100v
CPU GTL 0/2 REF Volt......................0.63X
CPU GTL 1/3 REF Volt......................0.61X
North Bridge GTL REF Volt.................0.58X

CAS Latency Time (tCL)....................5
RAS# to CAS# Delay (tRCD).................6
RAS# Precharge (tRP)......................6
Precharge Delay (tRAS)....................18

wake up from sleep works

250mv 2.100v 63 61 58 5 6 6 18 430x9 boot fail restart

However there is another problem, with dsdt.aml fix I cannot wake up by keyboard, only by mouse and power button, with clover fix only power button wake up success, how can I fix this?

Why does over/underclocking using Clover cause time lag & audio stutter? (RTC/HPET?)

Is there a way I can fix the lag/stutter? Can Clover somehow compensate for this? (maybe RTC calibration?).

I know its not a clover issue. I'm probably asking for too much, but it would be nice if it were possible...

Thanks in advance :)

Because Clover is not changing neither BusSpeed nor Cpu Speed. It can only tell to system what are these values. If these value will be over/under their real values then the system will work abnormal: lags, hangs, Audio squeak,  scratch.

one more question windows is installs with clover only from DVD not usb or bootable usb

???

I did with DVD ISO9660+Joilet.

I think USB is also possible. Why not?
