You're 'tutorial'? I thought you copied it because the same username on tonymac and osx86, only this one was different :)

I've just purchased this laptop last week and since then i have been trying to install ML to no avail. I've tried #####, a Post-Install pack on OSX86 (dot) net and various other methods.

I now understand that the basesystem.dmg needs to be restored to a usb and not the entire ML app but i found a really useful tool called 'LionDiskMaker' which takes care of the entire restoration process but i am having difficulties getting past the initial boot sequence. It mainly appears to be relating to the intelcpupowermanagment kext but i can't quite work it out. I will later upload a detailed, step-by-step process on how i have attempted to install ML and hopefully one of you guys may be able to point me in the right direction.

I Appreciate all the information the OP posted but it really is of little help so i will be working on a full, step-by-step guide.

Thanks guys.
