When I try to install S. Leopard on my computer, it gets stuck at this step:

After last line it gives:

still waiting for foot device

still waiting for foot device

....

It looks like my computer 's Ethernet adapter is incompatible with S. Leopard. Or is it something else?

Anyway, I searched for alternative kext files for my Ethernet and I found several ones as IONetworkingFamily.kext

But here's the problem: How will I put those new , alternative kexts into the Install Disk?

Alright, I use a USB Harddisk as the Install Disk so I can get away putting kext into /System/Library/Extensions/ without burning any DVD.

But then I think I should do "rebuid cache" of kext??? I remember rebuilding cache on my Lenovo Laptop with Mac OS X on it, using a utility called Kext Be**t or something like that. But here, the Mac OS X is not installed on harddisk, it's the install phase. So I wonder how I can perform "rebuild cache" if it's necessary or possible at all.

any help is appreciated, thanks.
