1.) I have a HD Radeon 5870 that is working but not showing up as a 5870 in the system menu.... and There is no 3D rendering cant launch Portal I could when the system was using the intel 3000 graphics.
2.) When trying to set the system definition to 5,1 i get KP's... can only use 3,1 anyway to change this????
Otherwise system is working great...
Oh BTW i do not have a DSDT.... ran the install using dumb other sites tools... stuff works but not 100% as you can see above...
my system specs are in my signature if anyone thinks one is a good idea....
Thanks!
2 annoying issues that I could use some help with please!

According to the source of chameleon, there are several options you can make.Try them one after another
plus, I suggest you remove the ATIports in boot.plist.

Thanks! got it working awesome now, only issues now is this.
On power up i get my BIOS screen followed by my chameleon screen, once i select to launch ML i then get the Grey screen with the apple logo.
Now here is my latest WTF... the monitor won't display the ML login screen unless i unplug the DVI cable from the graphics card and re attach it..
what would cause this? Was never an issue when i was using a Toshiba tv via HDMI... no with a Samsung SyncMaster 305t using DVI-D i have to
constantly unplug and re attach the DVI-D cable to get a picture.... any ideas?
oh my resolution on the toshiba 24" was 1080p
my new resolution is 2560 x 1600
Thanks
