I've been trying to install OS X on this old laptop Acer Aspire 5680 without success.
I've followed this tutorial but I never get to the "welcome screen". I get a white screen with music and a voice providing some intructions (for blind people, I think).
I've tried several options as suggested in the tutorial, but the result is always the same.
I've read and searched a lot, but not luck...
Although a lot of people seem to have been able to install OS X on this PC...
It seems that the white screen has to do with the driver for the graphic card - NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600-SE - but I have no idea what to do now.
This tutorial suggested "iDeneb_v1.6_1058_Lite_Edition". Any other suggestions?
Also, in Step 5:
"once it finishes installing and boots up, boot with flag " cpus=1 " and proceed with the welcome screen, etc etc etc."
I'm not sure about what to do?
If I remove the DVD, nothing happens.
If I don't remove the DVD, and do nothing, it goes to the white screen.
If I don't remove the DVD and press F8, I am able to write " cpus=1 ", but then it starts the installation process again.
Any help on this?
Any instructions for this specific PC?
Thanks

I was able to install iDeneb 10.5.5, like in this video:
It's working.
I'll just have to find out how to install the kext for ethernet... as it isn't working yet.
Any help will be appreciated.
