Since Hackintosh didn't work on my PC, I decided to buy the 'real deal'. This is the result, a genuine 20" iMac G5, and I absolutely love it!

I'm so going out to get me a Nikon now...

The camera is irrelevant. Its the lens, the technique, and the lighting. All you need is a DSLR (any brand), a fast wide angle lens (35mm 1.8 like the OP), a good eye, and Photoshop.

If you like wide angles with shallow depth of field a Canon 5d MkII is a much better choice. It is a full frame sensor so you can achieve a similar shot with a sub $100 50mm 1.8 lens. Although with that the bokeh might not be as nice.

Somewhere Steve Jobs is having a stroke! :D

Jony Ive would be the one having a stroke (what happened to my design?!) LOL Steve might go nostalgic with this one though (Apple I) and I'm sure the Mighty Woz would approve of this barebones setup
