Hi

i just got the white screen + cursor.....

how do i remove the ati6000controller kext from single user mode?

does anyone know the commands? THANKS!!

How do i remove this
System/Library/Extensions/ATIRadeonx3000GLDriver.bundle

With commands?

I removed it, but i still get white screen...what to do?

mount /
cd /System/Library/Extensions

rm -rf ATIRadeonx3000GLDriver.bundle

rm -rf /System/Library/Caches/*

reboot -R now

ill test it now...hope it works

READ only File system, also when i type
/sbin/fsck -fy
/sbin/mount -uw ... root device on hfs,local, read-only, journaled

read only!!

use your USBInstaller and go for Utilities app Terminal or you can use MAC DRIVE from windows for delete this kext

type diskutil list for identifier your disk and partition
IE: diskutil mount /dev/disk0s2

cd /System/Library/Extensions

rm -rf ATIRadeonx3000GLDriver.bundle


rm -rf /System/Library/Caches/*


reboot -R now

I dont have usb installer, only access to single user mode!

use your DVD what you used for install and go for Utilities/Terminal

I used usb only, the usb is formatted....

still read-only file system

use windows whit app MacDrive for delete this kext

or try this comand for mount your disk

mount /

great, so i can use my usb its formated with mac partition.. do you know how to install .dmg file (ios 10.7) on it?

try this, boot with this boot flag: -x -v GraphicsEnabler=No cpus=1
if not work, try this boot with -v -x -s
mount /
cd /System/Library/Extensions
sudo rm -rf ATI*
sudo rm rf /System/Library/Caches/*
reboot -r now

sudo cant open /private/etc/sudoers: permission denied
sudo: no valid sudoers sources found, quitting

thanks i got it work now

im booted now, i should do some stuff to solve the problem. removed ati6000controller.kext.bak
, im not sure if that was the issue..?
