Dual booting after os x install

Hey,

I've read loads of threads about dual booting, but all of them are talking about installing windows first, then os x.

I've already installed os x and i've partitioned it already for a windows install, but will i break os x if i install it now? (I'm using GUID btw)

Can i just go ahead and install windows on that partition? will it work? Also, if i can install it, how would i get back to chameleon?

Thanks :)

Hi ..

No matter which is first installed .. each one will break the other's boot loader.

If you want Windows to take the lead then use EasyBCD to add OSX entry in the boot menu.

If you want to start with Chameleon, after installing Windows start your laptop with OSX USB installer then install Chameleon again to you OSX partition. Next boot you will see the Windows partition in the menu.

The main point is to mark both partitions as active (you may use Diskpart for this).

Good hack
