When I boot the laptop with MyHack it hangs at the DSMOS has arrived. I've included a picture where the installer hangs. I've tryed this syntaxes in the bootloader: -v -x -f GraphicsEnabler=no Does anyone know what to do now? kg, Kevinwalter Edit: When I added the MacBookPro8,1 line in smbios.plist it worked! except the mouse. Edit2: After installing it does not boot. It hangs at this screen:

kevinwalter
as for nvidia kext, I think it's important to set the correct nvcap value maybe you'd better search for this part good luck ~ HI, I think it's not a Nvidia problem. I need to turn off that Nvidia Optimus technology by removing the kexts. After that my laptop screen stays black (after -v I see only the end of the -v screen. When I leave the laptop on I can hear the voice from the voice installer so the OS boots up.) The weird thing is when I plugin a external screen it works great. I think it's a problem with the HD3000. Does anyone knows what it is? greetz, kevin
