ML Install boots only in usb (Almost done)

I have tried chimera that comes with uni b, I have installed two different versions of chameleon both post the ML update. I have changed the flags in the boot plist I have tried loading with the boot flags (-v PCIRootUID=0 npci=0x3000 GraphicsEnabler=Yes) and nothing.

It keeps hanging after IOBluetoothHCIController

Its taken me a few days to get the system running and I am contemplating just leaving in the usb stick as my bootloader...which whilst not the worst thing in the world It would be nice not having to do that.

Any help or advice is very much appreciated

Brian

Try this ... (credit to iFire)

P.S: if you don't have the Chameleon i386 folder, use the attached file.

1. copy boot1h for your USBInstaller root.

2. boot from USBinstaller and go for utilities and open app Terminal

3. type diskutil list for identified your disk and partition were you installed of system ML = "(i.e: disk0s2)"

4. type diskutil unmount disk0s2

5. type cd /

6. type dd if=boot1h of=/dev/disk0s2 bs=4096

7. reboot

in steep 6 put your disk and partition "(i.e disk0s2 "), see yours

Good hack
