Hello!
Machine didnt like the 10.7.5 update from apple. I finally was able to get the data back off the drive and start fresh. Now I am stuck at 1024x768 I have tried a NVDANV40HalG7xxx.kext but it kernel panics
I removed all of the NVD* files to be safe so now I am at this stage and really coul use some help.
OS = 10.7.2 - iATKOS_L2
Mother Board = Asus Maximus Formula - First Gen
Video = GeForce 7300 SE / 7200 GS
Please help!

ok I must be doing wrong. I tried arch=i386 at boot and same deal 1024x768

Yes. I installed all the kexts from the link first mentioned. Still cantseemto get any other resolution other than 1024x768.

Can you please explIn QE/CI? I guess I dont understand. Installing the kexts isnt all that needs to be done? I really appreciate your knowledge in this.

On a whim, I decided to install the 10.7.5 combo update and now I have a completely working system! Thanks for your help!

try to add after F8 on the boot ==>
1] -v -f / it's low F/
2] GraphicsEnabler=Yes
3] PciRoot=1 or 0 /zero/
4] "Graphics Mode"="1024x768x32@60"
5] arch=i386
or for testing add too ==> -x
if your video card has two output connectors try this on the first and then on second
