MacFaulty Posted September 30, 2012 Share Posted September 30, 2012 So, I installed ML relatively easy on my lappy, but now I have still 4 (more common) problems and I'd like you to help me if you've got the time to do so, any help is appreciated! So, the problems: 1. Speedstep / Turbo Boost: How to check this? 2. Graphics have QE/CI but are bit laggy when NOT using NullCPUPowerManagement kext. 3. Using Voodoo PS/2, whenever I use my keypad I need to press the FN key for any numeric key except number 5 on the keypad. 4. No sleep, goes in sleep (power button flashes slowly) and then after few secs wakes on it's own and goes in some kind of coma, need to press power button to put lappy off power and back on (I'd really like to get this working, so if anybody got a possible solution I'd say: Fire away!). Geekbench score: 4379. Using custom DSDT and using DropSSDT in conjunction with GeneratePStates and GenerateCStates. Intel reports max. turbo frequency is 2.53Ghz, but if I launch GeekBench I get to 2376Mhz (measured with SMC Monitor from InsanelyMac and HWMonitor app) with a busratio of 18 max. Curious: I read that when using NullCPUPowerManagement kext you don't have speedstepping, well I use NullCPUPowerManagement kext atm and do have frequency changes (1714, 1574 etc etc). Is this strange or normal? And when booting without NullCPUPowerManagement kext I see AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement: Turbo Ratios 0022. What does this mean?
