HackthatMac
Hey, Today I went out to the shops, bought an 8GB USB, and tried to follow the Mountain Lion ###### Install. This is what happened: 1) Mounted App Store Mountain Lion on USB in VMWare 2) Booted up with flag GraphicsEnabler=No (My GPU is not supported, ill be using HD4000) 3) Installed ML successfully on an independent HDD. 4) Rebooted after install, onto my Thumb Drive; and selected to boot into my Mountain Lion HDD (instead of USB) 5) Plugged in my other thumb drive, and started ######. 6) On ######, I installed ##### and my audio drivers. 7) I edited the org.chameleon file in /Extra to 'GraphicsEnabler=No' I read from somewhere that Chimera now has automatic support for HD4000 graphics. Is this true? After I had done the above 7 steps, I took the plunge and rebooted into the HDD. I got some sort of very strange white characters upon a black screen, and something was obviously not right. What have I done wrong? Is there a step I've missed out on? Cheers, and sorry for my long post. *** ASRock Z77 Extreme4 i5 3570k Radeon 7970
