Skaz
Hi I had a problem too for boot up my system after 10.8.2 update. For fix the problem I did replaced AppleACPIPlatform.kext by the previous version, this one if it may help you.

TheRacerMaster
Look for OemSmbios.kext in /System/Library/Extensions/FakeSMC.kext/PlugIns, /Extra/Extensions, and /System/Library/Extensions. Delete it and rebuild kext caches.

Can someone upload it somewhere? :/ Look for OemSmbios.kext in /System/Library/Extensions/FakeSMC.kext/PlugIns, /Extra/Extensions, and /System/Library/Extensions. Delete it and rebuild kext caches. I dont have that file at all. I have FakeSMC, but there is no OemSmbios in it, nor in Extra or S/L/E
