Hi there,
I'm planning on building my first Hackintosh this year and would like to know if my chosen components are compatible and/or right.
Here's the list:
1) ASUS P8Z77-V STCOM motherboard
2) i7-3770k Ivy Bridge
3) gigabyte GeForce GTX680 2GB WINDFORCE x 2 (SLi)
4) G.Skill PC3-14900 CL10 RIPJAWS XL (8GB x4)
5) OCZ Agility3 SSD SATA3 [120GB] x 3
6) Corsair Hydro Series CORSAIR H100 waterblock
7) [Thermaltake] VN700M1W2N Overseer RX-I PC Case
8) Seagate HDD Barracuda SATA3 1TB x 3
9) MaxRevo EMR1500EGT 1500W/ATX PSU
Or this:
1) Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H GEN3 MOTHERBOARD
2)i7-3770k Ivy Bridge
3) gigabyte GTX670 UDV D5 2GB X 2 (SLi)
4) G.Skill PC3-14900 CL10 RIPJAWS XL (8GB x4)
5)[OCZ]Vertex3 series SSD 240GB X 2
6)Corsair Hydro Series CORSAIR H100 waterblock
7) COSMOS S PC CASE
8) WD Green SATA3 3TB
9) MaxRevo EMR1500EGT 1500W/ATX PSU
The second build works out almost $1500 cheaper ($4120 vs $2690)
I don't know which OSX is the best for this setup.
Any comments or info regarding this build would be appreciated.
